Ellen van Toor

Ellen van Toor (1958)

Ellen van Toor has known from childhood how to make her own world with small scraps of paper, feathers and fabrics. Collage is still her technique, combined with graphics. Nowadays she makes works that are about freedom and limitation. Her symbols for these extremes are fish and birds.
Ellen van Toor studied at the Royal Academy for Visual Arts in The Hague and exhibits her art in galleries and fairs throughout the country.
