Bas Andries is cameraman and photographer. With this series of photos of flower still lifes, Andries refers ro the 17th century masters of Dutch and Flemish painting. The objects in the photos each tell their own story, based on universal themes such as love and seduction or personal memories of the photographer. The quality of these compositions is partly determined by the flowers. Everthing is real, nothinh is 'photoshopped'.
