Park Hong-Chun (Korea)
The photographs from the series 'Trace' were taken on the seashores of Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. These photos, the compositions of sky, sea and benches look empty, but are filled with traces of whole things. Contradictory concepts such as life and death, presence and absence, and endurance and evanescence merge together in this work midway between fullness and emptiness. The longer the duration of exposure, the less "noise" in the photograph.
