Jorge Luis Marrero (Havana, 1970)
Jorge Luis Marrero plays a game around the appropriation of art. In 1994 he redeployed Lichtenstein's work back in a cartoon story. He actually got the stage of 'borrowing' his own work - childhood drawings. These recreations show what was going through the mind of a little boy in the Cuba of twenty years ago.
