Cao Jingping
Cao Jingping was born in Chongqing, China in 1972. He graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a MFA in 1999. By contrasting fragile insects, which easily pass away, and tough, rusting steel he makes a metaphor of life itself in his paintings. Life is fragile and reality is hard, so nothing is eternal.
