Choi Jinkee
Choi Jinkee is a Korean-born, New York-based sculpture artist as well as a woodworker. Small found objects are is primary materials, which he deforms into strange figures inspired by illusions from daily life. By using the conflict of meaning between objects ans hallucinations, he explores how our subconsious world strikes us and how much dominates our real world. Then we can aslo read social stereotype and individual desires trhough the sweetly poignant transifiguring.
