Energy , and everything that relates to it, is Van Munster’s guide line in art; in the beginning very literally in works with seed balls and artificial insemination, later, more introvertly, using elements like light and dark, hot and cold, plus and minus. In vigour of his credo: less is more, or ‘minus is plus’, he designs minimal, meditative objects (in stone, glass, or steel) loaded with an energetic intensity that radiates from them.
